Are Diet's Really The Answer To Lose Weight Fast?

Are you convinced that the only way you'll ever be able to shed those unwanted pounds is through a rigorous  diet  that forces you to eat tasteless food and feel starving all the time? If so, let me shatter that belief right now!  Diets  are actually one of the worst ways to lose weight around, but somehow we've all been convinced otherwise...

When you put yourself on a " diet ," that usually means restricting your calorie intake (eating less food) and only eating "healthy" food. Of course what everyone defines as healthy always seems to vary.

These radical changes force your body to respond in a variety of ways, usually bad. For example, if you start a low carb  diet  you may lose some weight really fast. The only problem is that it's mostly all water weight since your body used up all the carbs holding water in your muscles. The result is a droopy figure and huge lack of energy.

Instead of  dieting , we need to focus on small life changes a little at a time. Things like eating 1 more meal every day, or taking slightly smaller portion sizes. When you slowly introduce things that will help you lose weight, you will develop habits that incorporate them into your every day life.

But when you go on a huge  diet  and change everything you're doing, it's not likely to stick and you'll probably just give up in a few weeks. Then you'll be right back to where you started, wondering why it's so hard to lose weight. It can be an easy and gradual activity if you focus on the right things.
